XPS Pensions, a prominent pensions consultancy, relocated to a new office space, aiming to create a cutting-edge environment that balanced professional design with homely comfort. The project, managed in collaboration with CBRE, called for a mix of innovative office solutions that would enhance acoustics, provide functional spaces, and maintain the aesthetic integrity of the office.
Workagile was selected as a key supplier to the office fit-out, providing acoustic solutions and custom room systems to align with XPS Pensions’ vision. The design featured Workagile’s BeCalm Acoustic Pods and a bespoke Pergola-style room system, designed in collaboration with CBRE and Penkeths.
The Challenge:

Workagile collaborated with CBRE to provide two primary elements: the BeCalm Acoustic Pods and the custom Pergola-style room system.
BeCalm Acoustic Pods: BeCalm was selected for its exceptional acoustic performance, making it the ideal choice for a busy office environment. The pods’ generous interior space ensures comfort, while the design reduces noise distractions, creating private areas for calls, meetings, or focused work. The acoustic panels within the pods contribute to superior sound insulation, enhancing the productivity of individuals and teams within the office.
Custom Pergola-style Room System: The custom Pergola system featured a slatted roof design to meet sprinkler compliance requirements, offering an innovative and stylish solution that complemented the overall office aesthetic. The design provided an open, airy feel while still maintaining privacy and functionality.
Aesthetic Integration: The entire scheme was specified with a colour palette that harmonised with the office’s professional and sophisticated look. The colours were chosen to complement the overall design, creating a seamless integration between the pods, room systems, and the wider office environment. The result was a stylish yet functional space that reflected the brand’s values and corporate identity.
